The iPod touch was first released on September 5, 2007. The iPod touch is the second iPod with a Multi-touch inter-surface. The iPod touch even has access to WI-FI, the App store, and the iTunes Store. Some more amazing features are the external volume controls, a built-in speaker, a contoured back, built-in Nike+ iPod, Bluetooth support, and the ability to connect a microphone.(Microphone available on the iPod touch 4th generation) The most recent version: the iPod touch 4th generation was released on September 8, 2010.
