The iPhone was the first iPod phone designed and made by Apple. It was released on January 9, 2007. The iPhone is basically a multi-media, smart-phone enabled iPod. It features: Text-messaging, a camera, Visual Voice mail, iPod music features, E-mail and Web-browsing (either on Multi-media plan, 3G coverage, or WI-FI). It was the first iPod to have a Multi-touch inter-surface. The most recent version: the iPhone 4 was released on June 24, 2010.
